FMR Associates-Eastlan Study is good news for Broadcasters.
Weekly AM-FM Radio Listening among Adults 25-64 is at 86%, unchanged from 2022. Significantly, cume listening is strong and consistent regardless of age, sex, market rank or geographic region.

Weekly AM-FM Radio Listening is well ahead of other audio options. In an environment of audio choice, radio remains the clear preference and listening is stable, not declining.

2023 was the first year in a decade that podcast listening did NOT go up. Weekly Podcast listening in 2022 was at 25% and 24% in 2023, statistically unchanged.
The National Listening Study for FMR Associates and Eastlan Ratings is conducted from March-October each year. The statistically projectable national survey of 1500 25- to 64-year-old adults from the thousands surveyed each month by FMR Associates and Eastlan was demographically balanced and geographically representative. The full survey will be released to Eastlan and FMR Clients on December 15th.
